Joy To the world

Yesterday was a re-calibration day, as I felt so much. Started writing something. But my computer overheated. And I decided I needed to ground, and re-center.

I felt so much energy, and it was a lot. I had to go and just lay out in the field, and feel the ground, and the sun.  Nearly fell asleep it felt so soothing.

It feels so muchy out there. So much. And my heart just wants so much just to shine. To be balanced.

Today, I am thankful beautiful moments, of shared presence, oneness. Of heart-space. Moment's like last month singing at the Bird center. One guy, in charge wanted us to learn---Take me home, Country roads.

This is another version---very bass.

Bess learned the chords on the bass Ukulele, in advance. When we got there, we sang, it for them, and also the guy who asked us, sang with us. And it was cute because he was so nervous to stand and sing with us, but it was special, because when he sang, everyone felt more at ease to sing. So it was just a really heartfelt, beautiful moment. All of us singing. Grateful Bess took the time to learn the chords, and print out the lyrics, so we could all sing it. It was a really good now moment.

I am grateful for those moments, where we all share a space together.

Tuesday night was also one of those shared spaces. Where we were in the audience. And got to appreciate the performance, really appreciate it.  Bess, Amelia, and Sarah and I all went. And it was one of the best concerts I've been to, this year, so far.

Because I felt it. Really felt it. My heart felt it.

Our neighbor gave us tickets, and two extra tickets to share.

It wasn't a concert we would have gone to, and yet, we were there.

It was a full house. And what a beautiful program.

Jenny Oaks Baker, Joy to the world. Four of her children were with her---one on piano, one on the cello, one on the violin, and one on the guitar.

She used our Delta Echo choir to sing the chorus, and the Delta high-school as well. So it was a lot of people, and energy on stage.

She also incorporated some really beautiful soloists, one lady soloist, I totally recognized, as I had been listening to some Celtic women songs, and thought I knew her from somewhere. A lady, with short, curly hair, singing. I thought she looked like one of the woman, singing, The Call.  And she was. So curious. She has this darling Debby Renolds smile, welcoming stage presence, and amazing voice. She flew down from Ireland to do these performances.

She sang, Breath of heaven, and I thought it was---powerful.

Also, another beautiful singer, man singer, was Preston Yates.

And the narrator, was an author who has written the story, Christmas Jars. I remember reading a long time ago. He had some really beautiful thoughts with his narration.

They had all the elements for a really beautiful show. Beautiful words, Beautiful songs, Ballet, Irish cloggers, drums, amazing percussion, a beautiful Christmas Message about Christ. There was so much going on, it was hard to appreciate it all.

What was the best thing about it though, was as it progressed, I felt we all just synced up. And spirit was there. And beyond the talent, the voice of that third element was heard. And it was good. Just really, beautiful.

You could feel us all, just being there. Here. In that space.

Where the audience and the performers were just in the oneness, of love, and I felt my heart warm up, and smile. And I feel, especially for the song, Breath of heaven, and O holy night, everyone felt the power of the words. And we were there. A now moment, we were all in a beautiful bubble of love--- the whole point of music, words, dance, script, all of it.

So beautiful. My heart felt nourished, and I felt it. It was a beautiful love grid of togetherness, and a beautiful Christmas gift, so beautiful, I feel blessed to have been there. It was really a lot of energy.

They also tried to include the audience in singing, on Silent night, so it was a really special event.

They don't have much of their program online, but I found a bit of their work on youtube. So I'm posting it here, to share a bit of it.

The most beautiful thing about live music, is the spiritual space of audience and performer, that heart space when were are all in heaven, in the now together, is, priceless. And that is a breath of heaven. And what is beautiful, is that whether something is really polished, with lots of talent, or raw, and unplanned, and organic, the most important element, is spirit. Love, heart, and seeing. Nothing can replace that.

I hope that I can all carry that spirit with me no matter always. The spirit of unity. The spirit of love. The spirit of now. It is a priceless gem.

Presence. Real power. And the hereness is beautiful. And if we can find a way to be here now. Here, and here. In the space. Where we don't want to be somewhere else. But here. That is so beautiful. A space where we can all be in love together. All of us. Heaven.

This is just a little promo showing of what their program is like.

This guy was in charge of the percussion. Jay Nygaard.

A song they did last night, but it was even better, in person, and I think they added some more elements, because it seemed different/better there.

This guy also sang some beautiful songs too. But I can't find him singing, Oh, holy night. So here's a bit of his music, and this is a beautiful song.

And this song, Chariots of Fire, well, it's just because, because Bess wanted us all to try it last tonight. Mom on the piano, and I on the dulcimer, and her on the violin tonight. It's probably one of the first's songs I ever learned on the piano, by ear. My sister, Holly, or Sarah taught a simple version to me, when I was I kid, and I still remember it. It may or may not be a Christmas song. It could be. :)
Either way, Joy to the world.
That is a beautiful message.

Joy to the world.
Joy.

God's law is love.

And his Gospel is peace.

Peace. Yes. That is beautiful.
Peace.
May our hearts echo joy, and peace and love out into the world.
And the inner light of the spirit guide us always ever closer to Christ.
To that place where we see with our hearts, and know the wisdom of heart.
