Dear blog,
I feel much better. Though it was one of those headaches that make you feel slightly delirious, nauseous, and just misery of body. And you wonder if you're ever going to feel better.
It started letting up, so I went to choir.
When I got back home, got worse.
I did toss and turn….
Find tub.
Get up.
And go back to tub.
Lay down.
Where is tub again.
Though, when it finally left, it
was such a relief. Also, raisin cookies and kefir don’t mix well with a
headache. Reconstituted raisins.
Had koto lessons today, as my
teacher is heading out to Japan for a competition for a while, probably until next month. My head was still hurting, but by the end of lessons it had gone. She has so very much fun visiting.
And hauled off a pile of junk from all the weird fix it jobs around the house. It was nice to get a load to the dump.
The autumn leaves are beautiful.
And it was nice to be outside, though it was chilly.
I miss sleeping outside.
Bess does too.
It just feels like the ground takes the old static and codes gathered through the day, and just neutralizes them. Helps you remember your core frequency. Helps you remember you.
We’ve been so lucky, it’s really been pretty decent weather for a long time, and it’s such a beautiful, and wonderful thing to be able to be outside so much.
And the autumn is beautiful, just really chilly.
I'm glad to have my greenhouse working again. A couple weeks ago I patched together a pretty okay looking roof for my greenhouse. It’s not leak proof, and it doesn’t look as grand as its first beginning. But I like it. And it smells so nice in there.
The other day, two of my neighbor friends (kids) came over and they were dressed up as dinosaurs. I thought they looked just like the lost boys on Peter pan---down to their funny little outfits, and tails. They wanted to play music, and milk goats, and jump on the trampoline, and then they had to gather eggs, and look in the greenhouse, and dig in the garden. I had teeny tiny potatoes, and one kid just popped them in his mouth.
Then he found an old onion I’d dug up with my nephew, and then he ate that too. Funny ducks. I have as Stevia plant in my greenhouse, that tastes like sugar, and he also thought that was wonderful, and the mint. They kept on saying, “Everything about your house I love. I love this, and I love that. And though they were very jiggly, and a little short on attention span, they felt very much like the lost boys.
So many.
And not enough Wendys to go around.
Anywho...I think I shall go to bed. I feel a little weird.
It was curious because the other day, I sat and listened to the Song I shared on here. “Rise.” Really enjoying it, and probably playing over several times.
Then Bess started humming it later that day, and I asked her if she’d been listening to it.
And she said no.
But I think I heard it in your head.
Okay….
Bess is always sayings stuff like that.
We both liked it so much, we started learning it today.
So we had fun singing it, while she was playing on the ukulele.
Also, Bess found this funny video of a cat singing. Had to share it here.
Also I found this song today, thought was sweet.
So I'm sharing it here.
Have a good night.
All these songs are so beautiful. Such good words.
